For the past eight years, my partner Alina and I have been globetrotting digital nomads. Along the way, we knew we wanted a special furry friend, a little cat who'd be happy traveling, a bit like a dog but also very much a cat. After searching across three countries, we found our perfect match in Warsaw.

Meet Ichigo, our Burmese bundle of joy. He's a 12-month-old, brown fur ball who's totally in love with his toy dinosaur, sunbathing, and chicken fillet. He's not just a cat; he's our family.

But here's the tough part. Three months back, Ichigo's behavior changed. He wasn't eating as much, was losing weight, and just didn't seem himself. What started as a misdiagnosed gum inflammation took us on a rollercoaster ride of vet visits, tests, and some scary diagnoses like cancer or FIP.

The news hit us hard. But here's the thing – we're not giving up. Ichigo is a fighter, and so are we. He deserves to live a long, happy, and healthy life, and we're determined to make it happen.
