Eunoia is a wonderful soul that was living for 4 years on the streets before being re-homed in our shelter Stray Home. Here, she was cared for and awaited along with others, to find her forever family. When we rescued her, she had rotten teeth, which we removed, and the operation went perfectly fine. She recovered fast and was doing well, even if we are not sure how old she really is.

Very suddenly though, she lost a lot of weight, her hematocrit level dropped to 20 and fluid was found in her abdomen which was confirmed with an ultrasound we did today. The rest of the biochemical tests came out well, and it was concluded that her diagnosis was liquid infectious peritonitis - wet FIP.

She is a very phobic cat, which is the reason why we need to treat her with pills rather than injections.

Donations are needed urgently to avoid the worst to save Eunoia from her tremendous ordeal. She was saved once and needs to receive treatment as soon as possible.
