Lex is one of two sweet little sisters we adopted from a cat rescue after the loss of our Beloved Stella to IMHA in November of 2019. Lex and her bonded sister Sophie were adopted in December 2019 and completed our little family with their resident older brother cat, our 7 year old Hobbes.

Over the last 8 months, we have been absolutely put through the ringer trying to figure her out. Recurrent ataxia, loss of muscle tone, extreme fatigue and frequent diarrhea had us puzzled. We ran test after test, ruling everything out, watching labs, After-hours trips to the emergency vet, adding and removing medicines and treatments. After nothing else was concrete, we were given the likely diagnosis of FIP.

We're day one of this journey to keep our sweet little Lex lively and active, the way she was. Soph loves her so much, and we want to keep these sweet little sisters together and healthy as long as possible.
