Okay, so.. How to even start? Her story was never an easy one, she was born somewhere in Ukraine near Odessa, when war has already circled there. When people already fled the area she lived in the park by herself, being only 6 months old, hiding from packs of wild dogs also living there with no food. She was caught for a sterilisation and turned out to be a cuddly bug: this calico gem stole the heart of her saviour, who decided to put a lot of efforts in finding her a forever home in better, safe world. That's why, as many other Ukrainian cats within last 3 years, she came to Poland and landed in our foster home. We both fell for her, and when suddenly FIP took our dearest cat-daughter, Zara, so fast we didn't even manage to start the treatment, she was the one to give us comfort and company, she healed us. So, as we often say between cat volunteers: sometimes we save them, sometimes THEY SAVE US, thus that's exactly what happened.

Sheri has only one eye and is also FIV+ which never stopped her in being such a wonderful companion and friend to us, as well as other cats who live with us (her adoptive brother, Mri, also saved after bombing in Ukraine, and 5 foster kittens). Now, once we know what the struggle is, we never wondered if we should try to save her or if we can afford it: we only challenged how can we do it best, and how soon can we start?

We were lucky, like, REALLY LUCKY: a wonderful person offered us to borrow the first vial of the curefip GS, so we could start the treatment actually based on assumptions, before the tests results came out, and we bought us some time already. Now, after one month, Sheri has gained weight, lost all the liquid that was in her stomach, is again playful and adorable: but she's not yet 2 years old. I promised her the day she got here that I will do everything possible so she can live a long and happy life, as long as it would be possible. Now, I am asking your for your support in keeping this promise.

We will cure her anyways, we will be paying this debt for a long after the treatment has finished if needed, but we will. Since we helped many cats in the past, I am somehow full of hope that some of the good energy we were capable of sharing, may come back now, when we need it most.
