URGENT HELP NEEDED WITH FIP OUTBREAK

Ein paar Worte von der Spendenaktion

In this foster home, where rescued cats wait for their forever humans, the nightmare started on October 5, 2022, when Bianca died of wet FIP a week after her diagnosis; she received treatment with GS-441524, but it was too late.

Usually, with FIP, that would signal the end. However, the rare occurrence of a FIP outbreak had just started. In sequence, Caramela, Bat, Pif, and Charlotte have so far been diagnosed with various forms of FIP and are under treatment.

The regular expenses of running a foster home with 16 cats, many of whom with special needs, are already substantial. This FIP outbreak has added upward of 2000 euros to the monthly budget for medication, supplements, vet visits, and special food. Moreover, it has now become essential to screen the other 12 cats for signs of FIP, which will be incredibly expensive.

Donations are urgently needed for the cats to have a chance to overcome this terrible ordeal. Bat and Caramela have so far completed half their treatment and have responded well; they are on the mend. The others are just starting with much hope that a time will come when these days will be but a half-forgotten nightmare.

This holiday season, please consider helping our foster cats survive. Any help, no matter how small, would be immensely valuable and greatly appreciated.
