This is Myrto, she is a little less than 3 years old. She was 5 months old, living as a stray cat when we first found her and she started following us every day seeking for a home. Of course we took her home, treated her for some little health issues she had and she's been living with us happily ever since. About two months ago, however, she started having strong symptoms, such as loss of appetite, low energy and lethargy. After a lot of health examinations, we were told that everything points to our little Myrto having FIP, a virus fatal to cats unless treated with antiviral medicine. We have started the treatment and Myrto looks better, but we need help to complete it, since the cost of the medicine is overwhelming. Myrto is still young with a lot of sparkle in her eyes, despite her illness, so we want to give her a chance to fight it. Any help will be valuable to us.
